Advisor: Chenhao Tan

I am a first-year Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the University of Chicago, advised by Prof. Chenhao Tan. I received my M.S. in Computer Science (2026) and B.S. in Computer Engineering (2024) from the University of California, San Diego. At UCSD, I worked with Prof. Leon Bergen and Prof. Ramamohan Paturi in the Laboratory for Emerging Intelligence on long-context question answering, biomedical reasoning with language models, and benchmarks for clinical trial outcome prediction and risk-of-bias assessment. That work led to papers at COLM 2025 (Single-Pass Document Scanning for Question Answering, selected as an oral spotlight) and EMNLP 2025 (the RoBBR benchmark), as well as the CT Open platform and DeepImagine.
