I teach programming courses in the introductory sequence of the Computer Science major. My goal is to get as many students as possible excited about the craft of coding and its practical applications, whether or not they continue on to major in Computer Science.
I earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Columbia University, where I studied static dataflow analyses for C programs, and I previously earned a BS and MS in Computer Science from Yale University. I’m not actively involved in research at the moment, but I’m interested in computing education and–recently–its entanglement with generative AI.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy mixology, volleyball, and game development.
