Sarang Joshi

I am a third-year PhD student studying quantum computer systems with Fred Chong and Diana Franklin. Before my PhD at UChicago, I graduated cum laude from the University of Washington, Seattle, with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. My interest lies at the intersection of classical computer systems and quantum computing—including classical control, quantum error correction, and quantum computer architecturems—as well as quantum computer education.
Outside of my research, I like to make music, play video games, and travel!
