Hi, I am Zongze, a Computer Science Ph.D. student at University of Chicago, where I am advised by Prof. Yanjing Li and Prof. Ce Zhang. Prior to joining UChicago, I obtained my bachelor’s degree at ShanghaiTech University, where I did lots of HPC-related and file system work.
My primary research goal is to design and employ techniques at the system and architecture levels to optimize and accelerate AI applications(Sys4AI), as well as explore the potential of Heterogeneous Computing in broader application scenarios. This includes, but is not limited to, accelerating large model inference, graph analytics, and optimizing operators at the compilation level. Apart from that, I also have experience and interest in HPC, AI Systems. I believe that future system designs will complement the development of AI applications, and it is worth focusing on how increasingly specialized hardware accelerators can synergistically leverage their performance advantages in heterogeneous systems.
